This H-45 multi-fuel heater burns Type II Liquid Fuel such JP-8 jet fuel, diesel, and kerosene so no power is required. Fuel flows to the heater from a 5-gallon Jerry fuel can or a 55-gallon drum using gravity.
It was designed to heat military tents in moderate to arctic conditions. Its burning time and efficient use of fuel also makes it ideal for hunting camps, cabins, shops, and emergency use.
The H-45 replaces the old potbelly M-1941. Its burner technology improves the combustion of diesel fuel which also prevents dangerous raw fuel fumes from pooling inside the space. Exhaust is vented to the outside to keep the inside warm with cleaner air.
