USED-LIKE NEW CONDITION
The JP-8 Fueld Handler Coveralls are a heavy duty, highly specialized protective suit designed for military personnel and commercial aviation technicians who handle JP-8 jet fuel, petroleum, oils, lubricants (POL), and dangerous chemical solvents.
Engineered primarily by defense contractors like Aerostar International and W. L. Gore & Associates, these garments provide full-body environmental protection during wet-fuel operations, aircraft tank maintenance, and fuel cell inspections.
Outfitted with waterproof zippered pockets (chest, thighs, and sleeves), a stowaway or detachable respirator-compatible hood, underarm ventilation zippers, and partial leg zippers to easily don or doff the suit over combat boots.
The vapor-permeable membrane allows sweat vapor to escape, significantly reducing heat stress during extended maintenance shifts.
Engineered to be static electricity dissipative to eliminate sparks in highly explosive vapor environments. It blocks liquid penetration from fuels, hydraulic fluids, and even DEET.
