Great used as a deer sled while hunting, as an ice fishing sled, or for hauling any heavy or bulky items in snow. This aerial delivery sled (Type A-16) was designed by the Air Force to parachute supplies into remote areas in the Arctic and facilitate survival in the event of a crash. It is strong yet lightweight for towing over snow.
