This mag pouch was designed to carry a reserve supply of ammunition for the M3 and M3A1 submachine gun used in World War 2 through the Vietnam War. The original cotton duck was replaced with nylon duck after 1972 so this particular pouch is from the late Vietnam War era.

Purpose Built
I am working on an airsoft kit based on my great grand father's position as a tank recon commander in WWII and as such I needed an M3A1. This pouch holds six magazines comfortably for the M3 and I suspect it would hold other similar submachine gun magazines just fine as well!

M3 Grease Gun Mag Pouch
I bought this to hold some SMG mags, not necessarily for the M3. Looks brand new and works as I'd hoped.
