Welcome to the Fall 2009 edition of the General News, the website
newsletter from Billings Army Navy Surplus Store, Inc. — the largest
genuine military retailer in the Northwest.
With Fall fast approaching, thoughts of hunting
and cooler weather are first-most on everyone’s minds. We have a
never-ending selection of unique, practical and original military
offerings to start another season.
MREs
This is the main-stay in the soldier's diet. These super-fortified meal packets
are quick, easy, flavorful and filling. They can be eaten directly out
of the packet, heated in water or can be heated with the included
self-heating packet. We have a very large selection of complete meals, main courses, and cases, there is even a breakfast entree and snacks. These are the real
government issue MRE, not the Milspec knock-off. Take them hiking,
hunting, and anywhere a quick and easy hot meal is needed. These are
great for long-term food storage and survival in these trying times.

 10-Man Arctic Tent
For the first time in many years, we were able to secure a large inventory of genuine military issue 10-man Arctic Canvas Tents,
new and in their original wrappings and crate. This has only happened a
hand-full of times in our 28 years of business. These tents are
waterproof, fireproof canvas, complete with liner, poles, ropes, stakes
and carry bag. They also come complete with a stove jack and sod cloth.
These tents are 17 feet in diameter and are
designed for heavy snow loads and wind. The back-country outfitters
love them! They make great hunting camps, family camping tents and
survival shelters. More pics and info are also available — just call or
email us. I do also have a few exceptionally good used ones available.
Don't forget to look at all our other tent options as well as cots and bunkbeds, heating and cooking stoves, and sleeping bags. Grab one of these fine-valued tents while we have them.
Halloween
Halloween is a special day for us in the Army Navy business. It allows
us to dress-up in all our historic gear. We have a huge selection of
costume ideas. Check out our helmets (the helmet liner is perfect for Trick or Treaters), goggles (we recommend the Chinese military goggles), gas masks and of course our military clothing for adults. We even have military clothing for your kids.
Grab a flight suit for that ‘Top Gun’ look, a camo uniform for a combat
soldier, or a peacoat for a Popeye costume. We even have dummy grenades and dog tags to complete the look. Let your imagination roll.
Wool Pants
With Fall approaching and hunting just around the corner, check out our huge selection of wool pants. Ideal for fall chores, hunting, or even a cold day at the football game. We have a style and weight for every occasion. The new Swedish whipcords are great for bird hunting and for work. They are very briar resistant and not as bulky. The East German wool pants
are an incredible value at $19.95. They are mid-weight, straight-cut
and very durable. We also stock new wool pants from Johnson-Woolen and
Filson. Don’t forget the knickers for a day out skiing or cycling. We
also stock button suspenders.
Parachutes
We have in stock a tremendous selection of de-milled military parachutes.
Use them for car covers, hunting blinds, decoration, shade, heavy
equipment covers, or anywhere a large amount of durable fabric is
needed. We have them in many different colors and fabrics and in sizes
3' to 100'. There is even a camo one. We've had lots of Moms decorate
their kids' rooms with them. These are novelty only so NO JUMPING! Here is just a sampling of what we have available:
